As CEO, he brings a powerful blend of strategic vision, operational discipline, and hands-on technical expertise that drives business growth, enhances operational efficiency, and consistently delivers high-value infrastructure solutions.
Jon started his career in the 1990s, building a strong foundation in estimating and project management before rising rapidly through the executive ranks. His leadership journey includes founding and serving as President of a construction services fabrication company, where he oversaw all facets of the business, from operations and finance to engineering and quality control, driving performance and profitability through lean processes and system-driven accountability.
He most recently served as Executive Vice President of Preconstruction Services at a top ENR 400 contractor, where he managed over $1billion in annual backlog replenishment and led strategic growth initiatives. In his role, Jon led all estimating, business development, scheduling, and proposal operations across a diverse portfolio of complex projects ranging from $50 million to $2 billion.
A proven leader in both startup and large enterprise environments, Jon has earned a reputation for developing winning strategies, building high-performing teams, and navigating competitive, high-stakes pursuits. His ability to translate technical complexity into actionable plans has made him a go-to executive for strategic corporate development.

With over four decades of experience in the construction industry, Scott Hurwitz has built a distinguished career rooted in craftsmanship, leadership, and strategic execution. His journey began at age 18 as a laborer, and he quickly rose through the ranks, joining the NYC Carpenters Local 157 as a carpenter’s apprentice. After earning his Class A journeyman’s card, Scott relocated to South Florida, where his career evolved from hands-on fieldwork to high-level executive leadership.
In South Florida, Scott held progressively senior roles—from Assistant Superintendent to Executive Project Manager—overseeing a wide range of complex commercial and residential projects. Over the next ten years, he led multidisciplinary teams and consistently delivered projects with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
Scott later founded and successfully operated a structural cast-in-place concrete company, where he managed all facets of business operations, field execution, and client relations. For more than 15 years, his firm earned a reputation for excellence in delivering high-performance concrete structures across South Florida. His portfolio includes mid- and high-rise buildings, parking structures, large-scale foundations, data centers, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and extensive historic concrete restoration work.

Paul Scott brings a dynamic, detail-oriented professionalism backed by years of experience in cost estimating, budgeting, and strategic planning. As the leader of our estimating team, he is responsible for analyzing complex project requirements to deliver accurate, competitive, and timely bids. Paul specializes in pre-construction planning and process management, with a sharp focus on minimizing risks and maximizing profitability.
He began his career as an Estimator and has since delivered a diverse range of projects, including military hangars, hospitality developments, commercial retail spaces, high-rise structural builds, and large-scale tilt-wall warehouses.

Nick Murray brings over a decade of experience in civil engineering, land development, and construction management to Aurum Construction. As a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Nick leads Aurum’s Site Engineering efforts with a deep understanding of topographic analysis, site optimization, and regulatory compliance.
Before joining Aurum Construction, Nick held leadership roles at Alston Construction, Casey & Keller, and Bowman Consulting, delivering cost-effective site solutions on projects across United States with a focus on value engineering, earthwork, and stormwater management.
Nick earned a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech and a B.S. in Surveying Engineering Technology from NJIT. He brings strong technical expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Agtek, and Hydroflow, and is recognized for translating design intent into practical, buildable, and cost-efficient solutions.
